Call for Abstracts
In celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Hydropolitics Academy Center (HPA), the International Journal of Water Management and Diplomacy is pleased to announce a special issue dedicated to exploring the evolving landscape of water management, diplomacy, and hydropolitics over the past decade and beyond. This milestone provides a unique opportunity to reflect on the achievements, challenges, and innovations in the field, while also envisioning the future of water governance in an increasingly complex and interconnected world.
We invite researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and thought leaders to submit abstracts for consideration in this special issue. Contributions should align with the journal’s focus on advancing knowledge and practice in water management and diplomacy, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary and transboundary perspectives. - advances in water diplomacy and conflict resolution,
- innovations in water management,
- hydropolitics and geopolitics in water-scarce regions,
- climate change and environmental protection,
- water security and mass migration,
- equity and inclusion in water governance,
- policy and institutional frameworks,
- case studies and best practices, and future Pathways.
