Climate Change and Migration from Local to Global Climate change and migration are among the important developments that challenge the existing social structures of our age. Climate change has become an increasingly important trigger factor in migration decisions directly and indirectly. Climate-induced migration creates different impacts from small local communities to global organizations . In this context, the reactions and solution proposals of societies present a great diversity and a complex structure.


Antalya International Science Forum ANISF 2024 focuses on local solutions to be developed against the consequences of climate change together with policies towards its global impacts. In this context, the Science Forum aims to discuss current research, innovative approaches, and good practice examples in the field. We invite researchers, practitioners and other interested parties working on Climate Change and Migration from Local to Global to contribute on (but not limited to) the following topics :


•Climate change problems and solutions at global level
•Solutions for increasing climate resilience at local level.
•Urban policy and governance in the context of climate change and migration
•Resilience and adaptation of communities and societies to climate and demographic
change
•Methods and approaches to climate change migration research
We would like to welcome papers that prioritize interdisciplinary approaches and/or present
field studies from different parts of the world.


Forms of participation:
You can contribute theoretical, empirical,methodological, or practical examples in the following formats:
•Oral Presentations: Participants can present their work orally. Presentations will be
organized by the organizing committee in different sessions according to thematic areas .
•Poster Presentations: In poster presentations, early-stage projects (e.g. PhD projects) or selected results can be presented in a poster (A0).
Panels and training programs will also be held within the scope of the Forum.
Please submit your abstract the latest by 02 th September 2024.
